Hemp seed butter is produced from the oil of expeller pressed seeds of the Hemp plant (Cannabis Sativa). It provides the four essential fatty acids beneficial to the skin: LA, GLA, LNA and SDA. It is one of the highest EFA contents at 76%. The Hemp seed butter is produced using the fatty fractions which are collected during the refining process and blended with cocoa butter to produce a butter-like material suitable for use in therapeutic skin and hair care. It is also food grade. Butter shelf life, when stored properly is 24 months. Refrigerate after opening.
EDESTINS PROTEINS- Hemp butter is rich in the globular proteins that are precursors to some of the most vital chemicals in the body
CONTAIN 21 AMINO ACIDS- Hemp protein contains all twenty-one known amino acids, including the nine essential ones adult bodies cannot produce.
11 GRAMS PROTEIN- A small amount of hemp butter, about two tablespoons, will deliver about eleven grams of protein, of the highest quality protein available.
HORMONAL BALANCE-Hemp is the only edible seed that contains gamma-linolenic acid, which is eventually converted to the protective hormone prostaglandin PGE1 that regulates the hormonal balance and supports menopausal health.
ANTI-INFLAMMATORY- The immune modulating effects of essential fatty acids may improve arthritis symptoms. Studies have found that long-term fatty acid supplementation can improve arthritis pain scores and reduce the number of drugs taken by patients.
